We are seeking a self-motivated and ambitious Intruder Alarm Engineer to join our expanding team. For the right candidate the role will provide an excellent opportunity for growth and career development, offering contracts on commercial and industrial projects as well as working on high security systems.

Responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting the intruder alarm systems of our rapidly growing client base, the successful candidate will consistently demonstrate a professional attitude, with the willingness to learn new skills as well as assisting in the training of others.

Role Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of intruder alarm systems including installation, servicing, testing and fault repair. CCTV and Access Control experience an advantage
  • Thorough understanding of appropriate legislation, standards and regulations in relation to intruder alarms system and be able to install, maintain and support to these standards
  • Evident customer services and communication skills, ensuring the requirements of customers are met to the highest standards
  • Awareness of Health and Safety policies, ensuring these are adhered to at all times
  • Good computer skills, including the use of MS Office
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.

Desired but not Essential

  • Experience within the Rail Industry
  • Industry accreditations such as City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
  • Good IT skills, including the use of MS Office
  • Based in Essex
